Conversation Piece is a string of handmade beads made collectively by a support group for survivors of sexual assault in Reykjavík. A group run and innitiated by Megan Auður. Creating the beads is practiced as a guiding and grounding exercize through conversations on trauma and healing.
The beads transcribe an abstracted conversation of the support group into morse code making both these whisper networks visible, as well as celebrating these conversations of care and support.
